This was not an easy decision. We know how much this event means to the community, volunteers, sponsors and the golfers. However, given the mandates, we feel like it is in the best interest of all to cancel the event.

My name is Jennifer Zangari, my daughter is Charlotte Braga, she’s 11 years old and we live in Cumberland RI. When Charlotte was 7 years old she was participating in competition dancing. In the middle of the season she had unusual bruising which resulted in a trip to her primary care doctor. After many tests it was determined she had a bone marrow failure disease called Severe Aplastic Anemia.
The Pittsfield Pirates is a 16U baseball team from Pittsfield, MA, made up of players from 4 area high schools in Berkshire County. These boys came together in the summer of 2015 with a common goal of creating a competitive team that could play in regional tournaments and garner attention from college recruiters.
